Our mission focuses on 2 key pillars:
TO PROVIDE A PLATFORM FOR STUDENTS TO NETWORK AND BUILD MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS.
TO EXPOSE AND INFORM UNDERGRADUATE BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS ABOUT INTERNSHIP AND POST GRADUATE OPTIONS ACROSS CANADA.

Curtis Ehlert
"I'm Curtis, a fourth year bioengineering student at McGill and a co-chair of CUBEC '23/24. I have a background in T. brucei protein biochemistry and novel antibody development. Beyond research, I'm passionate about promoting education and accessibility in BME and biotech spaces"

"I’m a third year McGill student studying bioengineering with a minor in management. My main interests in this field consist of tissue and biomaterial engineering. This is my second year with the CUBEC team and my current position is co-marketing VP."

Rubaina Farin
Rubaina Farin (she/her) is in her 4th year at U of T,double majoring in Genetics and computational CogSci, with a passion for genetic engineering and precision medicine. Beyond academics, Rubaina enjoys dragon boating, playing guitar and piano, dancing, and photography.
